Exploring the increase in prison populations, prisoners being locked up for more hours versus options for rehabilitation.

Who profits when prison numbers go up? Prisons are bursting and having to lock detainees up for longer each day, is this keeping our communities safer? Prison is big business but who is profiting?

To coincide with the Koestler Trust exhibition, Inside: Art by offenders, secure patients and detainees, this evening features artists and speakers discussing young people in the prison system and their pathways.

Performers include Jamal Khan, an award-winning writer and performer whose work beautifully tackles significant issues from gun crime to mental health.
